Football is deeply embedded in Glasgow’s cultural identity.
The rivalry between Celtic and Rangers FC is one of the most intense and historic rivalries in world sport. A unique atmosphere where you would find it hard-pressed to beat.
Arrive early. Supporters gather around Celtic Way leading to the stadium.
Take the train. Dalmarnock and Bridgeton stations are both around a 10 to 15 minute walk from Celtic Park. Trains run direct from Glasgow Central, much quicker than driving on a matchday.
Have a pint in the Gallowgate. The Brazen Head, the Squirrel Bar and Bairds Bar are long-standing Celtic supporter pubs in the streets approaching the stadium, packed pre-match.
