Trying out the Centenary Pavilion Hospitality at Leeds United

A couple of weeks ago we headed to Elland Road to test out the Centenary Pavilion package. Here is how it went!

We were coming from Donegal, so we flew from Belfast City into Leeds Bradford.
Once we landed in Leeds we took the Airport Shuttle Bus into the city centre where our hotel was. It is a 30 minute journey, leaves every 20 minutes from the airport and costs only £2 each! On the way back to the airport the next day we took an uber which cost about £12 which was also pretty good value.

We were staying in the Doubletree by Hilton in Leeds City centre. The hotel was clean, spacious, comfortable rooms and friendly staff, and within walking distance of plenty of bars and restaurants.
An uber to the stadium from our hotel was only £6.

Once we landed at the stadium we headed to the Peacock Bar, just across the road from the stadium, it has a collection of beer tents and hot food stands and multiple TV screens in an impressive beer garden. A pint cost £5 and you need to show your match ticket to get into the bar but it is well worth it for the pre match atmosphere.

Then it was off to the Centenary Pavilion Hospitality. It's in a building across a small road by the East Stand of the stadium and is open 3 hours before kick off. You are taken to your table (tables are shared tables of 10), and then served a hot three course meal, we had roast beef and a strawberry cheesecake. There is also a pre match complimentary bar where you can get beer, wine or soft drinks-spirits are extra.

We then headed out to our seats which are in the East Stand Upper Tier and had a great longide view. It is less than a 2 minute walk from the Centenary Pavilion lounge to the stadium and there is lift access up to the seats if needed. Drinks and burgers can be purchased in the concourse where a burger is £4.50 and a pint £5.50.

After the game, it was back to the Centenary Pavilion Lounge where we were given a complimentary drink voucher and had access to a hot food buffet. We were able to stay in the lounge for an hour after the game whcih means we missed the big rush leaving the stadium. We then walked back to the hotel, which only took about 30 minutes.

Tickets are emailed to you around 3-5 days before the game date as a a PDF attachment and prices start from €147 per person.

Centenary Pavillion package is available for all Leeds United home games through Champions Travel HERE.
